Housing First Assessment
One of the most important best practices implemented across homeless programs has been the Housing First Approach. HUD has tasked CoC's with assessing all programs to ensure we are applying and implementing the Housing First Approach appropriately for programs that serve homeless households. To facilitate the CoC's assessment, the Leadership Team Committee has approved the implementation of a Housing First Self - Assessment for 2024. All programs listed below are required to submit a Self - Assessment for the individual program by August 31, 2024. All Self - Assessments should be submitted to Karen Griffith and/or Amanda Ofsonka at The Planning Council. Agencies may submit one Self - Assessment for projects under the same type (RRH, PSH, etc.) with different funding streams. If program services/processes are equal.
