Singles Service Coordination Committee Works to address the needs of homeless individuals requiring a multitude of services through increased coordination among housing providers and systems of care, focusing on shelter exits and securing permanent housing placements for clients, as well as providing wrap around services for clients who cannot immediately access housing. Chairs: Rebecca Brown and Fatima Tomlin Meeting Schedule: Bi-weekly, Wednesdays @ 9:00 a.m. Families Service Coordination Committee Works to address the needs of homeless families requiring a multitude of services through increased coordination among housing providers and systems of care, monitoring and facilitating the movement of families off of the shelter waiting list and into shelter or permanent housing placements by utilizing targeted referrals. Program Monitoring Committee
Provides year-round monitoring of funded homeless projects and ensures all adhere to funding requirements, informs providers of submission requirements, coordinates an unbiased review panel to prioritize annual projects and funding, and ensures that providers meet the established Standards of Care. HMIS Committee/User Group A platform for continued learning and training related to the use of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Ensures that HMIS end users adhere to the Hampton Roads HMIS Policies and Procedures and data collection requirements as outlined in the HUD HMIS Data Standards and other federal partner program manuals. Provides guidance on the implementation of the Hampton Roads HMIS Policies and Procedures and the CoC's adopted Data Quality Plan. Reviews data quality reports on a quarterly basis and focuses efforts on continuously improving data quality. Open to all HMIS end users and Victim Service Provider Agencies utilizing a comparable database.
