The Greater Virginia Peninsula Homelessness Consortium (GVPHC) is a regional body comprised of six separate political jurisdictions: Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, Williamsburg, James City County, and York County. This vigorous and collaborative entity is open to any and all agencies, programs, and individuals interested in working to prevent homelessness on the Virginia Peninsula.

The Commission on Homelessness was established by the Virginia Peninsula Mayors and Chairs to oversee a collaborative approach to develop the 10-Year Regional Plan to End Homelessness.
